It' a very good review. There's always been something about this knife that turns me off and unfortunately it's the look. I can't exactly pin it down, maybe it's the shape of the handle.
One thing other than the look is the lock design. I'm not too crazy for a lock that needs to be adjusted from time to time. I'm constantly fidgeting with my knives and the Axxis lock will become loose. I had a Recon 1 years ago and got rid of it for that reason.
Oh, and trim those nails or get a MANicure. :)
